For 12 consecutive years, Hunter's Green Country Club has been proud to host the ClubCorp Charity Classic. The Board of Governors of Hunter’s Green Country Club have set these dates (August 31, 2019 and September 21, 2019) to hold our ClubCorp Charity Classic events.
This year we will be raising funds for three worthy charities.
Our first charity, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay (RMHC) is a local charity whose mission is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children with challenging medical needs and their families. For 38-years, RMHC have been pioneers of providing family-centered care. They strive to be a part of the solution in improving the lives of children and families during difficult time. Since 1980, RMHC has comforted and cared for more than 50,000 sick children and their families.
Our second charity, Augie’s Quest, is dedicated to driving innovative science toward the discovery and development of treatments for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Every dollar raised through Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS is dedicated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute. (ALS TDI) It is estimated on average that 15 people are diagnosed with ALS every day and roughly 30,000 people in America have this condition.
Our third charity is the Employee Partner Care Fund (EPCF). The focus of this fund is to aid ClubCorp employees that are experiencing financial hardship. We have recently seen the impact of hurricanes, floods, health issues and death that have affected our employees and their families. The fund has provided grants to employees to help them get through difficult times.
It is important that all of us help in furthering the impact these organizations have on those in need. We all at Hunter’s Green Country Club thank you in advance for your support. We have a great line up of events and are excited to have your participation and contributions. Please visit us at: Hunter's Green Country Club .
